Abstract

This research has been carried out in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of interactions and the main effects of cow manure and TOP G2 POC on the growth and yield of celery plants. The design used was a Factorial Completely Randomized Design consisting of two factors. The first factor is Cow Manure (S) with a dose of 0, 37.5, 50 and 62.5 g / polybag while the second factor is POC TOP G2 (P) with a concentration of 0, 2.5, 5 and 7.5 ml / l water. The parameters observed were plant height (cm), relative growth rate (LPR), number of stems per clump, wet plant weight (g), longest root length (cm) and root volume (cm3). The last observation data were analyzed statistically and continued with the BNJ advanced test at the level of 5%. The results of this study concluded that the interaction of cow manure and POC TOP G2 gave a significant effect on the number of stems per clump, plant wet weight, longest root length and root volume. The best treatment is the dosage of 62.5 g / polybag cow manure and G2 POC TOP 7.5 ml / l water (S3P3). The main effect of cow manure is real on the parameters of relative growth rate, number of stems per clump, wet weight of plantations, longest root length and root volume. The best treatment is giving cow manure 62.5 g / polybag (S3). The main effect of POC TOP G2 is real on the parameters of relative growth rates, number of stems per clump, wet weight of plantations, longest root length and root volume. The best treatment is the concentration of P2 TOP G2 7.5 ml / l water (P3).
