Abstract

Research has been carried out at the Experimental Field of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jalan Kaharudin Nasution No: 113 Air Dingin Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru. The research will be carried out for 4 months from June to August 2018. The research objective of this study was to determine the effect of Japanese Citroen window width and eye storage time on the success rate of Kuok Kampar sweet orange grafting. The design used is a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The first factor is J (window width) which consists of 4 levels and the second factor is E (entres storage time) which consists of 4 levels so that 16 treatment combinations are obtained and each treatment combination consists of 3 replications so that 48 plots are obtained, of which from one plot there were 4 plants and 2 plants were sampled so that 192 plants were obtained. The results of the research that have been carried out can be summarized as follows: The interaction of window width and eye storage treatment is real to the age of grafting. With the best treatment, the window width was 1.0 cm and the eye storage was 6 days (J1E3). The main effect of the treatment of the real window width on the percentage of living grafting and number of leaves. With the best treatment, the window width is 1.0 cm (J2). The main effect of eye storage is real on the percentage of live grafting and number of leaves. With the best treatment, eye storage is 6 days (E3).
