Abstract

This research has been carried out in the Experimental field of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University for four months starting from March to June 2018. The purpose of this study was to determine the interaction and main effects of supplying the Tricho corn compost fertilizer and POC Nasa fertilizer towards the growth and also the yield of celery plants. The experimental design used in this study was a Factorial Completely Randomized Design, consisting of two factors. The first factor is the provision of Tricho corn compost fertilizer (K) with 4 levels: 0, 75, 150, 225 g / polybag) and the second factor is the supply of POC Nasa fertilizer (P) with 4 levels: 0.6, 12, 18 cc / lair. The parameters observed were the relative growth rate, plant height, number of tillers, wet weight per plant and root volume. Observation data was analyzed statistically and continued with BNJ follow up test at 5% level. The results showed that the effect of the interaction between Tricho corn compost fertilizer and POC Nasa fertilizer had a significant effect on plant height, number of tillers, wet weight per plant, rate of relative growth and root volume. The best treatment is, by giving Tricho corn compost fertilizer 225 g / polybag and POC Nasa fertilizer18 cc / lair (K3P3). The main effect of giving Tricho corn compost fertilizer is true to all observation parameters. The best treatment of dose is 225 g / polybag (K3). The main influence of applying POC Nasa fertilizer is significant against all observation parameters. The best treatment of dose is 18 cc/lair (P3).
