Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of interaction and the main application of giving soybean processing wastewater and paper burning ash to the growth and production of soybean plants. This research has been carried out in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution KM 11, No. 113. Air Dingin Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. This research has been carried out for 4 months, starting from June - September 2018. This study uses Factorial Completely Randomized Design (RAL) which consists of 2 factors where the first factor is the provision of Soybean Processing Waste (K) consists of 4 levels and the second factor is: Paper Burning Ash (P) consists of 4 levels to obtain 16 combinations treatment. Each treatment combination was repeated 3 times so that the experiment consisted of 48 experimental units (plots). The total plant is 384 plants. Each plot has 8 plants with 2 plants as observation samples. The results of the observations were analyzed statistically, if the effect was significantly continued by the BNJ test at the level of 5%. The results showed that the interaction of giving soybean wastewater and paper burning ash significantly affected the number of nodules, flowering age, and percentage of pithy pods. The best treatment is a combination of 1000 ml soybean processing waste and 10 g paper / plant combustion ash (K3P3). The main effect of soybean processing waste is real on all observational parameters. The best treatment is 1000 ml (K3). The main effect of paper burning ash is real on all observational parameters. The best treatment for paper ash is 10 g / plant (P3).
