Abstract

This research has been carried out in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Pekanbaru City, for 5 months starting from July-November 2018 The aim of the study was to determine the effect of banana skin bokashi and NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 on tomato plants. The design used in this study was Factorial Completely Randomized Design 4 x 4. The first factor was bokashi banana skin (B) which consisted of 4 levels of treatment namely 0, 500, 1000 and 1500 g / plot, while the second factor was NPK Pearl fertilizer 16 : 16: 16 (N) consisting of 4 treatment levels, namely 0, 10, 20, and 30 g / plant. The parameters observed were plant height (cm), flowering age (days), harvest age (days), number of fruits per plant (fruit), fruit weight per plant (kg) and number of leftover fruit (fruit). The last observation data were analyzed statistically and continued with a BNJ follow-up test at the level of 5%. The results showed that the interaction of bokashi banana skin and fertilizer NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 had a significant effect on plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruits per plant, and fruit weight per plant. The best treatment for bokashi banana skin 1000g / plot and fertilizer NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 20 g / plant (B2N2). The main effect of the real bokashi banana skin on all parameters with the best treatment was giving banana banana skin 1000g / plot (B2). The main effect of NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 fertilizer is real on all parameters with the best treatment of fertilizer application NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 20 g / plant (N2).
