Abstract

This research was conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture Riau Islamic University, Jalan Kaharudin Nasution No. 113 Kelurahan Simpang Three, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. Time This research was conducted for four months starting from the month (November 2018 to February 2019). This research was conducted to determine the effect of interaction and the main effect of tea dregs and NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 on growth celery plant. The experimental design used in this study is Factorial completely randomized design consisting of two factors. The first factor namely, the use of The Dregs with 4 levels of treatment: 0 (control), 15.30 and 45 g / polybag while the second factor is NPK Mutiara Fertilizer 16:16:16 with 4 levels of treatment: 0 (control), 1, 1.5 and 2 g / polybag. Observation parameters observed were the number of tillers (clumps), the number of leaf midribs (strands), root length (cm), economic fresh weight (g) and plant dry weight (g). Data The last observations were analyzed in tabular form and followed by tests BNJ continued at the 5% level. The results of the research that have been done can be concluded: interaction applying NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 fertilizer and tea dregs to growth celery plant has a significant effect on economic weight, weight dry and long roots with the best treatment. The main effect of tea dregs Celery plant growth has a significant effect on the number of tillers and the number of leaf midribs were observed with the best treatment is 45g / polybag. The main effect of NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 fertilizer on Celery plant growth has a significant effect on parameters the number of tillers and the number of leaf midribs were observed with the best treatment is tea dregs 2 g / polybag.
