Abstract

This research was conducted in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Pekanbaru for 3 months from September to November 2019. The research objective was to determine the interaction effect and the main concentration of atonic ZPT and various growing media on the growth of honey guava by cuttings. The design used in this study was a factorial completely randomized design consisting of two factors. The first factor is the concentration of atonic ZPT consisting of 4 levels, namely 0, 1.5, 3.0, 4.5 cc / l of water. and the second factor is the various planting media which consists of 4 levels, namely 100% soil, 75% cocopeat, 75% husk charcoal, 75% sawdust. The parameters observed were the percentage of growth, age at appearance of shoots, number of leaves, longest root length and root volume. The data obtained were analyzed statistically and continued with the BNJ test at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction between atonic ZPT concentrations and various planting media was significant for the longest root length parameter. The best treatment was atonic ZPT concentration 3.0 cc / l water and 75% husk charcoal media. The main effect of atonic ZPT concentration affects all parameters observed with the best treatment atonic ZPT concentration of 3.0 cc / l water. The main effect of various growing media was significant on all parameters observed. The best treatment was 75% husk charcoal media
