Abstract
In the current era of globalization and modernity, it creates very tight business competition among companies today and does not rule out the possibility of businesses/workers to achieve these goals so that labor is an important component that becomes a very important driving wheel in a company. With respect to the contribution given by the workforce, it is necessary to protect the workforce, especially those made in the form of labor law regulations. Protection related to the rights of/labourers affected by layoffs in the Labor Cluster Job Creation Act has been regulated in Article 41 to Article 47 of Government Regulation no. 35 of 2021. In this case, it is stated that employers are obliged to provide compensation severance pay (service fees) and are also obliged to provide replacement money as well as those that should be received by workers/laborers in the event of such layoffs. So it can be said that the protection of the rights of workers/ laborers contained in the legislation is the fulfillment of wages that must be given to workers/ laborers in the event of layoffs. Termination of Employment that occurs to contract workers of PT. Bumi Karyatama Raharja in Dumai due to the merger of a company can lead to PHI, namely layoffs that occur due to differences of opinion between workers and employers. Lawful endeavors that can be taken by laborers as far as accomplishment are by finishing Prosecution and Non-Suit settlements. Regarding the choice gave by the Modern Relations Court, an allure might in any case be documented through the High Court of the Republic of Indonesia. Endeavors to settle outside the Modern Relations Court in case of an end of work start from a bipartite exertion then a three sided stage and intercession or pacification.
