Abstract

Public information disclosure is an important element for the realization of good governance or good governance. For that all public agencies must carry out quality public information services. One public institution that also has an obligation to provide public information services is the Siak Regency General Election Supervisory Agency. To be able to realize quality public information services, the Siak Regency General Election Supervisory Body must be able to apply the principles of good service. This research indicator is studied based on the principles of New Public Service (NPS) principles which consist of seven sub indicators, namely: Serve citizens, not customers, Serve citizens, not customers, Value citizenship over. entrepreneurship (respecting citizens / society more than entrepreneurship), Think strategically, act democratically (thinking strategically, acting democracy), Recognize that accountability isn't simple (realizing that accountability is not easy), Serve rather than steer (serving rather than controlling ) and Value people, not just productivity (respecting people, not mere productivity). The research method used is quantitative research methods. The population and sample in the study were officials in charge of carrying out public information services at the Siak Regency General Election Supervisory Agency and the human used information involved in the implementation of these activities. From the research results it is known that the implementation of public information services at the Siak Regency General Election Supervisory Board has been carried out well because it has met the principles of the New Public Service. With the implementation of public information services at the Siak Regency General Election Supervisory Agency, it is hoped that the Siak Regency Regional Government will increase funding support so that the Siak Regency General Election Supervisory Agency can improve service facilities and infrastructure for the implementation of higher quality public information services.
