Abstract
Motivation is a driving force for members of the organization to remain in the organization and also to progress, this also applies to public and private organizations, where this motivation is to stimulate employee morale for the better, motivation can come from within employees and outside, in this case the organization must understand what is needed by employees, especially in public organizations namely the Bagan Sinembah Sub-District Office in motivating to provide appeals as work orders and work discipline as Office rules and provide rewards and penalties for employees who violate these appeals, after committing pre-survey, it is known that there are a number of employees who leave the office early, lack of facilities and work infrastructures owned by the Bagan Sinembah Sub-District Office such as the number of tables and chairs for employees and air conditioners so as to make the staff feel hot, so many staff leave the room so that the service stops, and resulting in the delays in working on documents and the completion of other documents, the relationship between Office employees and the lack of oversight by the leadership. therefore the authors set the title of this research is "The Process of Employee Motivation in the Office of Bagan Sinembah Sub-District, Rokan Hilir Regency". This research uses descriptive type with quantitative data. This research will be conducted at the Office of Bagan Sinembah Sub-District Head. To obtain a representative sample, a purposive sampling technique was used, which was all the employees of the Bagan Sinembah Sub-District Office. after a discussion of the results of the processed data and interviews and observations it can be seen that motivational factors carried out by the District Office have been going well such as giving awards to employees who excel, and opportunities to continue their education, then hygiene indicators are done by providing office facilities, maintain relations between employees, make office discipline rules and conduct supervision, so that from the research conducted it can be concluded that the Employee Motivation Process in the Bagan Sinembah Sub-District Office in Rokan Hilir Regency in the implemented category.
