Abstract

The purpose of this study was the contribution of hand eye coordination and arm muscle power to the ability to service volleyball for the 2EE students of Penjaskesrek FKIP, Islamic University of Riau. This type of research is correlational research. The population in this study The population in this study were students of the Social Security Class 2E FKIP Riau Islamic University as many as 14 students. The sampling technique is total sampling so the number of samples is 14 people. The instruments used were the ball throwing test to the target, the medicine ball throwing test overhead and the service test for volleyball. Based on the calculations that have been made, the value of rx1y = 0.585 is in the range of intervals between 0,400-0,599 in the medium category. rx2y value = 0.555 that value is in the range of intervals between 0,400-0,599 with the medium category. The value of rx1x2y is 0.670. The score is in the range between 0.60- 0.799 with a strong category. The conclusion of this study is that there is the contribution of eye hand coordination and arm muscle power to the ability to service volleyball in the second grade EJK Penjaskesrek students of the Islamic University of Riau by 44.9%.
