Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution of muscle explosive power arm of the ability to serve volleyball Student UKM Penjaskesrek Riau Islamic University. This type of research is correlation, which is one of the techniques in statistics used to calculate the relationship level from several different variables. The population in this study were students There are 16 UKM of Penjaskesrek Riau Islamic University. Samples are used is 16 people. The data analysis technique used is the r test. Based on the results of data analysis and hypothesis testing, it can be obtained it was concluded that there was a contribution of the explosive power of the arm muscles to the ability service for volleyball student UKM Penjaskesrek Riau Islamic University of 34.93% with rcount = 0.591> r table = 0.497.
