Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in squat-style long jump learning with variation methond in class V students of SDN 008 Sukaraja, Kuantan Singingi Regency. This type of research is classroom action research. The population in this study were grade V students of SDN 008 Sukaraja, Kuantan Singingi Regency with a total of 30 people. The sampling technique is total sampling so the number of samples is 30 people. The instruments used were the Syllabus, RPP, and Republic of the assessment. The average squat style long jump learning outcomes in cycle I was 74. The highest score was 91 and the lowest score was 56. In the second cycle researchers only focused on remedial students, amounting to 14 students. Learning outcomes of the second cycle increased by an average of 77. The highest score was 91 and the lowest value was 63. The conclusion of this study was that the application of the method of variation methond could improve the learning outcomes of the long jump squat style of fifth grade students of SDN 008 Sukaraja, District of Logas, Tanah Darat, Kuantan Singingi Regency .
