Abstract
The purpose of this study is to improve learning outcomes Biology with appliying of study of cooperative Picture and Picture by using the concept in September 2017 until October 2017. Research subject class of VIII3 SMPN 5 Tasik Putri Puyu Year 2017/2018 which amounts to 31 student consist of 15 male studentds and 16 female students. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). Analysis techniques in this study using descriptive analysis techniques. Descriptive analysis of the results of student learning was done 2 cycles consisting of 8 meetings obtained by absorption student's cognitive value before CAR is (72,87%), after the first cycle absorption CAR students are (79,60%) increases (6,73%) from before the CAR and the second cycle students' absorption is (88,93%) increases (9.33%) of cycle I. the completeness of classical cognitive value before the CAR was (70,96%) first cycle (93,54%) increased (22,50%) from the prior CAR and the second cycle of (100%) increased (6,45%) from cycle I. The completeness classical psychomotor value before the CAR was (77,41%) first cycle (100%) increase (22,59%) from the prior CAR and the second cycle of (100%). It can be concluded that the application of cooperative learning of Picture and Picture using Handout can improve learning outcomes VIII3 biology grade students of SMP Negeri Tasik Putri Puyu Academic Year 2017/2018.
