Abstract

The study was carried out in experimental farm of Agriculture Faculty, Universitas Islam Riau, located in Kaharuddin Nasution street KM 11, Air Dingin Sub-District, District of Bukit Raya, Pekanbaru. Tis research was conducted for four months, from November 2020 to February 2021. The experiment was done in completely randomized design using two factors with four levels each. The first factor was the dosages of palm oil compost at levels: 0, 15, 30, and 45 g/polybag, and the second factor was the dosages of rice husk ash at 0, 37,5, 75, and 112,5 g/polybag respectively. Each experimental unit (plot) was replicated three times. Each unit consisted of nine plants and three of them were used as samples. Results of the study showed significant differences on interaction between the dose of palm oil compost and the dose of rice husk ash on the parameters: plant height, leaf number, harvest age, number of bulb per clump, weight of fresh (newly harvested) bulb per clump, weight of dried bulb per clump, bulb reduced weight, and bulb diameter. Combination of palm oil compost at 45 g/polybag and rice husk ash at 112,5 g/polybag was being the best treatment.
