Abstract

This study aims to find out and explain how the analysis of the influence of discipline and leadership style on the performance of the State Civil Apparatus Department of Population and Civil Registration of the Meranti Islands Regency, this research is in the form of descriptive field research with quantitative Quantitative interview questionnaires, and analyzing questionnaires and interviews obtained from Population and Sample with the sampling technique using two techniques namely Census and Purposive Sampling so that an answer is obtained for the problem formulated. In addition to the table data in the form of respondents' answers to analyze the data, in this case the collected data are grouped according to each data type and then presented in the form of interview narratives. Furthermore, the data that has been presented in the form of interview narratives is analyzed qualitatively which is described in the form of depictions that occur in the field, namely from the results of the discussions that have been conducted, it can be concluded that the authors get results in the field according to the questionnaire which is in the range of 50% , which is in the Fairly Good category. While the authors also analyzed the four indicators of the leadership style discipline, the Department of Population and Civil Registration of the Meranti Islands Regency was more likely to have a bureaucratic leadership style.
