Abstract

Management is the control and utilization of all existing resource sectors according to a plan needed for the completion of certain work objectives. Whereas the management of village potential is the ability of the village government to explore, manage and develop the potential that exists in the village with the aim of improving the welfare and economy of the village community. In line with that, the management of village potential in this study is the extent to which the village government in this case is the Village Head and Village Consultative Body (BPD) capable of managing and utilizing the potential of human resources, natural resources and local economic resources in Gema Village to generate income for the village and be able to improve the welfare of the community. However, in its implementation, the Gema Village Government is not able to manage the potential that exists in Desa Gema. The type of approach used in this study is a quantitative method in which the research data source comes from the results of the questionnaire. The number of research samples is 40 people and the technique used is random sampling. The data analysis technique uses quantitative techniques. From the results of the study it was found that as many as 137 respondents' answers that the management of village potential in development was well implemented. 204 responses of respondents that the management of village potential in development has been carried out quite well and as many as 419 respondents answered that the management of village potential in development has been poorly implemented. Then it can be concluded that the management of village potential in the development of the village of Gema Kecamatan Kampar Kiri Hulu in Kampar District as a whole has not been well implemented. .
