Abstract

Basically an agreement is an act in which a person binds himself to another person or more, both those who are legal entities and those who are not legal entities. The background of this research departs from the problems that arise in the implementation of the procurement agreement and construction of the Rantau Kopar bridge between PT. Chevron Pacific Indonesia with the Cooperative Rantau Kopar Subur which concerns the problem of the completion time of the work. The research that the author did was about how the implementation of the procurement agreement and construction of the Rantau Kopar bridge between PT. Chevron Pacific Indonesia with the Rantau Kopar Subur Cooperative in 2019 and what are the obstacles that occur in the implementation of the procurement agreement and construction of the Rantau Kopar bridge between PT. Chevron Pacific Indonesia with the Kopar Subur Overseas Cooperative in 2019. The research that the author is doing here is field research or observation (observational research) and seen from its nature, namely descriptive analysis. This research was conducted in the Bengkalis sub-district and Rantau Kopar sub-district while the population and respondents in this study were PGPA PT. Chevron Pacific Indonesia and Chairman of the Cooperative Rantau Kopar Subur. The form of data that the author uses is in the form of Primary Data and Secondary Data. In collecting data, the author uses interview techniques with a question and answer system. The results showed that the implementation of the agreement was carried out by open tender or auction and in practice for the contractor who was late in completing the work, the employer was given the opportunity to take responsibility for completing it according to the agreement. In solving this problem, it is done by means of deliberation or family.
