Abstract
Workers 'rights are often not fulfilled, which can lead to disputes or disputes, one of which is disputes over workers' wages. Settlement of worker wage disputes through mediation is regulated in Law No.2 of 2004 concerning the Settlement of Industrial Relations Disputes (PPHI), in which labor agencies have the authority to resolve disputes between workers and employers. The main problem that the author examined is related to How to Settle Worker Wages at PT. Sayap Mas Abadi through Mediation at the Department of Manpower and Transmigration of Riau Province and What are the obstacles faced in resolving Worker Wage disputes at PT. Sayap Mas Abadi through Mediation at the Manpower and Transmigration Office of Riau Province. The research method that the author uses in this research is observational research, by conducting a survey directly into the field to obtain data, while the nature of this research is an analytical description in which the author tries to provide a complete, detailed, and clear picture of a reality. related to the settlement of worker wage disputes through mediation which is resolved by the Industrial Relations Mediator of the Department of Manpower and Transmigration of Riau Province. The results of the research that the authors get are: 1. Settlement of worker wage disputes through mediation at the Department of Manpower and Transmigration of Riau Province which is carried out by means of settlement with bipartite negotiations which have 3 (three) stages such as the preparation stage for bipartite negotiations, the implementation stage of bipartite negotiations, as well as the stage after bipartite negotiations, in the event of failure or failure to reach an agreement, a mediation dispute settlement stage is carried out which has several procedures such as calling the parties, conducting mediation sessions, as well as the results of the collective agreement after the agreement is reached. 2. Constraints faced in resolving Worker Wage disputes at PT. Sayap Mas Abadi through Mediation at the Department of Manpower and Transmigration of Riau Province, namely regarding the wage payment system, the mechanism for calling the parties, the lack of cooperation between workers and employers, lack of communication between workers and employers.
