Abstract
The Directorate General of Immigration of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights has the function of providing servants to the public where the immigration office is located in various regions. Here the researcher took one of the immigration offices in Bengkalis Regency where the Immigration Office of Class II Bengkalis is one of the Immigration Offices, including providing immigration services, supervision and enforcement. the ineffectiveness of services available at the Class II Bengkalis Immigration Office made people feel less than optimal in obtaining services, especially the making of passports, this was reinforced by the lack of explanation from immigration officials at the Bengkalis Class II Immigration Office about operational standard procedures described in the law Immigration and the Minister of Law and Human Rights Regulations, this is also one of the factors that are not good for the way of service starting from the lower level in the Class II Immigration Office in Bengkalis. The problem in this study is, how is the supervision of the service of making passports in the Immigration Class II Office of Bengkalis ?, and What is the obstacle of the Bengkalis Class II Immigration Office in supervising passport-making services?. The research method used in this research is descriptive quantitative research methods with type of survey research. Data collection instruments in this study prioritize questionnaires as the main means of obtaining raw materials to obtain real conditions. In addition, this study also uses observation and interview techniques. for sampling, researchers used purposive sampling techniques, namely sampling techniques with certain considerations or special selection. In this technique, samples are chosen intentionally but must be in accordance with the requirements of the sample needed or can represent the population. The results of the research from the supervision of passport-making services at the Class II Immigration Office in Bengkalis. the community has gained satisfaction and is said to be good at supervising passport-making services. Despite this there is still a response from the community who say that the supervision carried out is still not good. The obstacles faced by employees of the Class II Bengkalis Immigration Office in the supervision of passport-making services are still lack of human resources and inadequate internet network availability and lack of capacity from online passport-making applications and lack of public knowledge.
