Abstract

This study aims to improve the activeness and learning outcomes of students of Economics at YLPI Pekanbaru High Schools through the Implementation of the Cooperative Learning Model of the Quick On The Draw Technique to Improve Student Activity and Learning Outcomes of the Xi Ips 1 High School Class in Pekanbaru. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of three meetings and several stages, namely, planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data obtained in this study include: Student learning outcomes of cycle I and II, teacher activities and student activities Cycle I student learning outcomes 65% (Good), Teacher activities (70%), Student activities (73%) while Cycle II student learning outcomes (85%), Teacher activities (75%), student activities (80%). From the results of this study it can be concluded that learning by using the cooperative learning model Quick on the draw technique can increase the activeness and learning outcomes of students of class XI IPS1 at YLPI High School Pekanbaru.
