Abstract

This research aims to know how to implement economic learning in SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru (Case study Class XI MIPA 4). This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The main subject of this research is the economics teacher. The data collection techniques used are observations, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data testing and conclusion withdrawal. The results showed that: (1) The economics teacher has been doing preliminary activities well but for the motivation of the economy teacher has not done so. (2) The economics teacher has conducted the core activities quite well but there are some things that do not correspond to what the teacher has written in the RPP such as the absence of verbal or written reports about the results of the discussion, presenting the results of work in Discussion, doing activities that foster students ' pride and confidence and do not include positive feedback on learners. (3) The teacher has done the closing activities well despite the lack of follow-up in the assignment of both individual and group assignments.
