Abstract

Workers' well-being and decent living are problems that are common among workers and are always neglected, the problem is always the main agenda for workers to go down the road, worker welfare is a very sensitive thing that affects labor productivity where workers will be more active in doing their jobs if needs needed can be fulfilled. In this study the author raises two main problems, namely the role of DPC F. HUKATAN KSBSI Kab .Inhu in improving the welfare of workers to realize a decent life for workers based on the Act No. 13 of 2003 at PT Tirta Sari Surya Kab. Inhu Is the obstacle faced by DPC F.HUKATAN KSBSI in improving the welfare of workers to create a decent life for workers at PT Tirta Sari Surya Kab. Inhu The method used in this writing is seen from the angle of the type classified into Research Research Reasearch, because in collecting data carried out a field survey by going down to the research location to obtain data and information through interviews and questionnaires, judging from its nature this research is descriptive analytical which means describing , provide details, and analyze clearly and systematically on the main problems under study, using both primary data and secondary data and inductively drawn conclusions. this study states that the role given by DPC F.HUKATAN KSBSI in improving the welfare of workers to realize decent life for workers at PT Tirta Sari Surya Kab. Inhu is well realized but has not been effective, namely by accommodating all aspirations from members and giving direction and joining in the discussion of wages so that it can help increase wages for workers / laborers. Lack of workers' knowledge of their rights is the main factor that inhibits the implementation of DPC's services F. HUKATAN KSBSI in improving the welfare of workers to create decent lives for workers and workers do not know that there are related arrangements governing employment. apart from that all DPC F. HUKATAN KSBSI Kab. Inhu also had to give more information about employment regulations so that the role of DPC F. HUKATAN KSBSI was effective in improving the welfare of workers to create a decent life for workers at PT Tirta Sari Surya Kab. Inhu. Keywords: Welfare, Decent Living Needs, Labor / Labor Union.
