Abstract
This study aims to improve the biology learning outcomes of the students of grade VIIE Class Junior High School of 4 Tambang 2017-2018. Data collection was conducted from march to april 2018. The subjects were students of Grade VIIE Class Junior High School of 04 Tambang, consisting of 25 students which is consisting of 11 male students and 14 female students. The method implemented is classroom action research (CAR). Data collection in this research with descriptive analysis, descriptive analysis to determine the absorptive power and classical completeness for the value of cognitive and psychomotor. understanding ability before CAR 70,8% increase by 12,1% at s I clause was 82,9% and in the second cycle there was a 4,3% increase to 87,2%. Classical completeness before CAR yes cognitive was 44% increased by 36% in the first cycle to 80% and in the second klusan increase of 12% to 92%. Psychomotor absorption before CAR 75,1% increased by 5,9% in the first cycle 81% and second cycle there was an improvement of 3,1% to 83,5%. psychomotor classical completeness before CAR 48% increased by 36% in the first cycle to 84% and in the second cycle increased 8% to 92%. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that the application of cooperative learning model think talk write (TTW) type by using handout to increase learning result of grade VIIE Class Junior High School of 4 Tambang 2017-2018
