Abstract

Application of Analytical Inquiry jurisprudential Learning Model to increase learning Biology Class X MIPAa SMAN 1Seberida Academic Year 2018/2019 NATALIA BR SIHOMBING NPM:156511212 Thesis Biology Education Study Program FKIP Riau Islamic University Advisor: Dr. Elfis, M.,Si ABSTRACT Active learning as a learning model that involves students actively in the learning process. One active learning model is JAI (Jurisprudential Analytical Inquiry). This model exposes students to debate giving logical or rational arguments and can analyze a case so that it can determine its attitude and conclude its opinions. The purpose of this study is to improve biology learning outcomes after the application of the Jurisprudential Analytical Inquiry learning model conducted on 4 March to 30 April 2019 in class X MIPAA SMAN 1 Seberida Academic Year 2018/2019, amounting to 36 students with 11 male and 26 female, this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The parameters assessed are student learning outcomes consisting of individual and classical completeness. Data analysis was performed descriptively to determine the students' absorption and mastery learning for the KDP (Cognitive) scores before PTK which was 72.52% increased to 82.67% in cycle 1 and increased again to 89.45% in cycle 2. Classical completeness of students' cognitive value from 58.33% before PTK increased to 100% in cycles 1 and 2. Classical completeness of the absorption of learning outcomes of KI (psychomotor) before PTK is 73.77% and increased to 82.71% in cycle 1 and increased again 93.29% in cycle 2. Psychomotor classical completeness from 63.88% increased to 100% in cycle 1 and cycle 2. From this study it can be concluded that the application of the Jurisprudential Analytical Inquiry learning model can improve student biology learning outcomes in class X MIPAA SMAN 1Seberida Academic Year 2018/2019.
