Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution of hand and eye coordination to the results of short serve badminton in junior athletes of PB Seminai, Siak Regency. The population in this study was the junior athletes of PB Seminari, Siak Regency, totaling 10 people. The research sampling technique is total sampling, where the entire population of 10 people is used as the research sample. The instruments used in this study were a tennis ball throw and catch test and a badminton short serve. the calculated r value is 0.226. This value is in the range of 0.200 – 0.400 in the less category. The conclusion in this study is that there is no contribution of eye and hand coordination to the results of short serve badminton games in junior athletes of PB Seminai, Siak Regency with a percentage of only 5.09%.
