Abstract

The problem behind this research is based on the observation of volleyball extracurricular activities at Bagan Sinembah 3 High School, which include the lack of good smash ability and several problems surrounding other physical conditions. To determine the relationship of waist flexibility and leg muscle power to the results of volleyball game smash students extracurricular Bagan Sinembah Public High School 3 Rokan Hilir Regency. This type of research is multiple correlation. Variable X1 is waist flexibility, X2 is Power of leg muscles and Y is Bolavoli Smash. The population is 18 male students. the sampling technique was total sampling so the number of samples was 18 people too. The instrument of this study was a test of static flexibility of upper body flexibility, vertical jump test, and volleyball smash test. The conclusions of this study are: 1) There is a relationship of waist flexibility to the results of the volleyball game smash of extracurricular students at Bagan Sinembah State High School 3 Rokan Hilir Regency with a percentage of 24.9%. 2) There is a relationship between leg muscle power towards the volleyball game smash results of extracurricular students at Bagan Sinembah 3 High School in Rokan Hilir Regency with a percentage of 34.3%. 3) There is a relationship between waist flexibility and leg muscle power on the volleyball game smash results of extracurricular students at Bagan Sinembah 3 High School in Rokan Hilir Regency with a percentage of 44.5%.
