Abstract
This study aims to analyze the aesthetic value contained in the Togak Balok Kumantan Godang Dance at Sanggam Melayu Sanggar Balai Sanggam Melayu, Pekanbaru City, Riau Province. The formulation of the problem in this research is: How are the ethical values contained in the Togak Balok Kumantan Godang dance clothes? The theory used to analyze the Aesthetic Value of the Togak Balok Kumantan Godang Dance, namely: Dharsono Sony Kartika's theory. which states that beauty in essence, it is a number of certain basic qualities that are contained in a thing. This study uses a qualitative method using descriptive methods. which uses data collection techniques by means of observation, interviews and documentation. The conclusion of the research results shows that the Togak Balok Kumantan Godang Dance Dress at Sanggam Melayu Studio is a garment that is still maintained until now. The clothing of Kumantan Godang Togak Balok Dance consists of head clothes, body clothing and accessories / accessories. In it which includes the value of unity, harmony, coverage, balance and resistance. Coupled with clothing / accessories that aim to achieve beauty, which is beautiful to the eye.
