Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of extracurricular activities in the implementation of dance (Kuala Deli) in the Integrated Islamic Vocational School Tebuireng 3 Keritang Tembilahan, Riau Province. This type of research is qualitative with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques in this study were obtained through Observation, Interview and Documentation. The purpose of the dance extracurricular activities at the Integrated Islamic Vocational School Tebuireng 3 Keritang Tembilahan Riau Province is to develop students 'potentials which include talents, interests and creativity, as well as to further introduce traditional dance to students and to improve students' personalities better to include students discipline, a sense of responsibility and cooperation between friends. Training schedule for the implementation of dance extracurricular activities in Tebuireng 3 Integrated Islamic Vocational School Keritang Tembilahan, Riau Province, once a week, on Thursday at 14.00-16.00 WIB. The material provided in this dance extracurricular activity is about the history of Kuala Deli dance, the basic movements of Kuala Deli dance and the variety of Kuala Deli dance movements. The Kuala Deli dance was conducted using lecture and demonstration methods, dance extracurricular activities (Kuala Deli) in the Integrated Islamic Vocational School Tebuireng 3 Keritang Tembilahan Riau Province in class X and XI held five times. Facilities and infrastructure for the implementation of dance extracurricular activities in Tebuireng 3 Integrated Islamic Vocational School Keritang Tembilahan, Riau Province are classrooms for training, speaker and handphone activities. Evaluation and assessment results of 6 students who participated in dance extracurricular activities 1 student received 85 grades A and 5 other students who participated in dance extracurricular activities scored 80 with B. achieve the objectives of Kuala Deli dance extracurricular activities. It can be concluded that the dance extracurricular activities continue to run well because the trainer is able to build an atmosphere so that students feel comfortable and also happy in the implementation of dance extracurricular activities in the Integrated Islamic Vocational School Tebuireng 3 Keritang Tembilahan Riau Province.
