Abstract

The Purpuse of this research was to know the Responses of VIII Grade Students to Implementation of Learning by Science Teacher based on Pedagogical Competence and Profesionalism at State Junior High School 22 Pekanbaru Academic Year 2018/2019. This research was Descriptive research. The method of this research was Survey Method. The collect the data, the research used questionare, observation, and interview. The total sample of this research were 139 Students of grade VIII state junior high school 22 Pekanbaru academic year 2018-2019. The questionare has 30 questions. Based on the result of the research, it can be seen that : Indicators apply some approaches, strategies, methods, and teachniquer of learning that educate creativity of the subjects taught can be categorized “very good” with 85,55%, Indicators of implementing learning that educates in classrooms, laboratories, and in the field by paying attention to the safety standards requiered can be categorized “very good” with 93,72%, Indicators of reflecting in learning that has been carried out can be categorized very good of 85,04%, Indicators utilized informations and communication technology in learning that taught can be categorized “good” with 68,26%, Indicators of processed the subjects creativity according to the level of the students can be categorized “very good” with 82,33%, Indicators followed the progress of the times by learning from many sources can be categorized “good” with 80,66%. It can be concluded that the average student response based on pedagogical competence is 83,14% with “very good” category, and the average students response based on profesionalism competence is 81,49% with “very good” category.
