Abstract

Contribution of Eye-Hand Coordination and Arm Muscle Strength to Punch Ability Clear on Badminton Games at PB Arena Athletes. The purpose of this study was (1) to determine the contribution of arm muscle strength to PB Arena Arena's clear badminton ability. (2) to find out the contribution of eye-hand coordination to PB Arena Arena's clear badminton ability. (3) to determine the contribution of arm muscle strength and eye-hand coordination to PB Athlete PB Arena's clear badminton ability. This type of research is correlation. The population in this study were PB Arena athletes totaling 15 people. The sampling technique used was total sampling so that the number of samples in this study were 15 people. The test instruments used were eye-hand coordination tests, push-up tests and clear punch tests. The data analysis technique used is the r test. Based on the results of the calculation, it can be seen that (1) There is a contribution of eye-hand coordination to PB Arena Arena's clear badminton ability with a calculated value of 0.526 with a contribution value of 27.67%. (2) There is a contribution of arm muscle strength to the ability to clear the badminton of PB Arena Athletes with a calculated value = 0.646 with a contribution value of 41.73%. (3) There is a contribution of arm muscle strenght and eye and hand coordination to the ability of clear badminton PB Arena athletes with a calculated value = 0.666 or with a contribution value of 44.36%.
