Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship of arm muscle strength with service on volleyball skills. This research conducted in the male volleyball athlete of Persatuan Keluarga Padang Pariaman (PKDP) Pekanbaru in November 2018. This type of research is correlation. The population in this research were male volleyball athlete of Persatuan Keluarga Padang Pariaman (PKDP) Pekanbaru, amounting to 16 people. The technique used is total sampling. The data collected in this research used instruments test the arm muscle strength and test skill and service above volleyball. Analisys of data using statistical correlation with significance level 5%. The research gives the following results: there is a significant relationship between the strength of the arm muscles to serve on volleyball skills in the male volleyball athletes of Persatuan Keluarga Padang Pariaman (PKDP) Pekanbaru.
