Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine how the Kubu village community appreciates the Inai Dance in Rokan Hilir Regency, Riau Province. The theory used is. The method used is descriptive analysis method using qualitative data using data collection techniques by interview, observation, documentation. According to Nana Syaodih Sukmadinata (2013: 72) Descriptive research is a form of the most basic research. Intended to describe or describe existing phenomena, both natural phenomena or human engineering. The stages of appreciation are: Observing, the people of Kubu Village consider this Inai Dance to be very good, and can be a role model or an example among children, adults. Living up to the activities carried out by the people of Kubu Village is to provide good values in the Inai Dance. Evaluate what the people of Kubu Village do and give good criticism of the Inai Dance. The assessment made by the people of Kubu Village was very good and also received a lot of good praise. Appreciating what the Kubu people do is the feeling of being carried away by witnessing the Henna Dance. The results of the research in this study indicate that the community really appreciates the Inai Dance in Kubu. There is a lot of support and participation for the Inai Dance, so that the Inai Dance is still preserved and can develop in the community of Kubu Village. as the people's entertainment which can be found at traditional weddings.
