Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was a contribution of eye and foot coordination and leg muscle strength to the passing and stopping abilities of the new Kembung football union (PSKB) athletes in Bengkalis Regency. This type of research is a multiple correlation study, the population of all students of the new Kembung Football Association (PSKB) Bengkalis Regency as many as 15 people. Sampling is a total sampling technique, amounting to 15 people. The instruments used were ankle coordination tests, leg muscle strength tests and passing and stopping tests. Data analysis using product moment correlation and to find the contribution of each variable using the coefficient of determination formula. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that there is a contribution of eye and foot coordination and leg muscle strength to the passing and stopping abilities of the new Kembung football union (PSKB) athletes in Bengkalis Regency. With r count 0.19 <r table 0.514. Where there is a contribution of 3.43%.
