Abstract

The theory used in this study is the theory of teaching implementation according to Suryosubroto, where teaching is guided by the curriculum, syllabus, learning implementation plans, facilities and infrastructure, learning methods and evaluation (page 17). This study used a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques, namely observation techniques, interview techniques and documentation techniques (page 40). The source of this research is the art and culture teacher at SMA Negeri 1 Teluk Kuantan (page 41). Based on the results of the study, it can be described that the implementation of teaching arts and culture (creative dance) in class XI IPS 2 of SMA Negeri 1 Teluk Kuantan uses distance learning with 2013 curriculum guidelines, but the implementation of teaching is adjusted to the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic where teaching is carried out online. (online) or E-Learning through Whatsapp groups and google classroom. The material taught is applying concepts, techniques and procedures in creating creative dance, and applying creative dance movements (functions, techniques, forms, types and aesthetic values according to the accompaniment). The assessment criteria taken are attitude assessment, knowledge assessment and skills assessment. In carrying out the teaching process, there are opening activities, core activities, and closing activities, all of which are carried out online.
