Abstract

Sombah Siriah Dance at Merawang Studio Kuantan Mudik Sub-district Riau Province Merawang Studio is a studio or community which enough known local communities Kuantan Mudik Sub-distict Kuantan Singingi Districts, which is enough to do performance although appearance. Merawang Studio since Sept 3, 2012, Lili Suryani as scouted, Budiono as coach, Mutiara as secretary, Hasmanora as treasurer, Mely Octaviani as make up and fashion. Sombah Siriah dancing created be based instructions Kuantan Singingi Regent 2013, but realized 2014. Therefore, regent hold events dance reception from district level. From Merawang Studio that’s Sombah Cerano dance. Identity Sombah Siriah Dance used sembah silat movement, and cerano have contents sirih. This research used descriptive analysis method with qualitative interactive i.e researchers as observer and dancer. Data collection techniques that’s observation, interview, and documentation. Research finally that’s motions from Sombah Siriah Dance take dance traditional be expanded by Budiono at Kuantan Mudik. Motions to be priority on a dancing and be expanded. Priority dominan became arable dancing i.e silat payung and sombah carano.
