Abstract
Mantra is the oldest old poem in Indonesia, which is a form of oral literature that contains magical and magical powers, spells are only spoken by shamans or handlers and people who know the procedures for using them. (1) how are the icons found in the spells in the lumping horse show in Gunung Sari Village, Gunung Sahilan Subdistrict, Kampar Regency (2) how is the index contained in the spell in the lumping horse show in Gunung Sari Village, Gunung Sahilan Subdistrict, Kampar Regency (3) how is the symbol contained in the spell in the lumping horse show in Gunung Sari Village, Gunung Subdistrict Sahilan Regency of Kampar. This study aims to describe (1) the icons contained in the spell in the lumping horse show in Gunung Sari Village, Gunung Sahilan sub-district, Kampar Regency (2) the index contained in the spell in the lumping horse show in Gunung Sari village, Gunung Sahilan sub-district, Kampar regency (3) symbols which is contained in the spell in the lumping horse show in Gunung Sari Village, Gunung Sahilan District, Kampar Regency. Theories used in this study are: Sobur (2003), Pradopo (2011), Santoso (1993), Utomo (2015), Nurgiyantoro (2012). The research approach is a qualitative approach. This research method uses descriptive method. The data in this study contained 8 spells. From the results of data processing collected in this study are as follows: (1) Icons in the spell in the lumping horse show in Gunung Sari Village, Gunung Sahilan District, Kampar Regency are found in the words "ingsun (me), whip (whip), moloekat (angel), udan (rain), yellow palm (yellow palm), latitude (star). (2) The index of spells in the lumping horse show in Gunung Sari Village, Gunung Sahilan Subdistrict, Kampar Regency, is found in the words "Ingsun amatek aji kulhu sungsang (I intend to read the tattoo swallowed upside down), I am willing to move away from ojo to nibo to a drop of nibo (I will get rid of it). rain not to drop even a single drop), (3) Symbols on spells in the lumping horse show in Gunung Sari Village Gunung Sahilan District Kampar Regency are found in the words "rajah (rajah), sangi earth foot earth (grandmother earth foot earth), yellow palm leaf (yellow palm) yellow leaf), lombok brother (red chili).
