Abstract

The book, a collection of short stories of the Good Eye by Ahmad Tohari, sees many moral values. The problem in this research is how the moral values ​​related to responsibility, conscience, and obligations contained in the collection of short stories written by Mata Taki, Ahmad Tohari. The purpose of this research is to find out, analyze and interpret the moral values ​​related to responsibilities, hearts and obligations in a collection of short stories written by Ahmad Tohari. The theories used to analyze the problem of this research are the theories put forward by Bertens (2004 ). The approach used is qualitative. This type of research is library research. The method used is descriptive. Data collection techniques performed by hermeneutic techniques are reading, note taking, and concluding techniques. The results of this study are moral values ​​related to responsibility, namely maintaining honor is one's own responsibility and moral values ​​relating to conscience, for example, a judge has sentenced him in an important court case. Conscience is the deepest human conscience. Every human being has a conscience. Given this, it can underlie every concrete action on humans, Moral Values ​​Related to Liability Examples of moral values ​​relating to obligations are a person must not refuse when he is facing it, such as educating children is the obligation of his parents.
