Abstract

This study aims to develop a mathematics learning tool using a discovery learning model on the material relations and functions of class VIII. The products developed are in the form of RPP and LKPD with 4 meetings. The development of learning tools that will be used in this research refers to the development of Four D Models or 4-D Models which consists of 4 stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. In the development of this device, only three stages are used, namely define, design, and develop. At the disseminate stage, it cannot be done due to time constraints and Covid-19 conditions, so it is not possible to spread it. The data collection instruments in this study were the RPP validation sheet and the LKPD validation sheet. The data collection technique used is non-test by asking for validation by validators, namely two mathematics education lecturers and two junior high school mathematics teachers. The data analysis technique used is quantitative data analysis techniques. This product only measures on validity and has not been tested due to covid-19. This study obtained the results of 83.68% RPP validation with valid criteria, and 83.96% LKPD validation results with valid criteria.
