Abstract

This study aims to describe the planning of learning, the implementation of learning, the assessment of learning in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum at SDN 017 Tandan Sari Village, Tapung Hilir District, Kampar Regency. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were classroom teachers, school principals and students at SDN 017 Tandan Sari Village. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview and documentation. The main instrument is the researcher using the tools of observation guidelines, interview guides, lesson plan analysis guidelines and question grid guidelines. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The technique of checking the validity of the data used triangulation. The results showed that the steps of the teacher in revising the lesson plans were choosing themes, mapping basic competencies, reviewing teacher books, reviewing syllabus, then compiling lesson plans. In the implementation of the 2013 curriculum learning the teacher implements learning based on themes, describing the scientific approach, but the teacher does not use a learning model that is in accordance with the 2013 curriculum. Then, in the 2013 curriculum learning assessment the teacher uses authentic assessment to assess the competence of attitudes, knowledge and skills. Authentic assessment used by the teacher, namely, direct observation, practice / performance, products, projects and portfolios.
