Abstract

This study aims to develop teaching materials based on Riau's local wisdom that are suitable for thematic learning on the theme of 7 sub-themes 1. This teaching material is expected to strengthen students' knowledge of local wisdom where students live, especially Riau. This research method uses development research with the ADDIE development model. This research uses three stages. (1) the analysis stage, namely the analysis of the needs of teaching materials, curriculum analysis and situation analysis, (2) the design stage, which is to design the product according to the needs. In addition to designing product designs, researchers also compile research instruments, namely validation sheets, (3) the development stage, namely writing teaching materials, editing teaching materials, and testing validity. The subjects of this study were six validators and one teacher. The research instrument in this study was an interview sheet and a validation sheet. The data analysis techniques used were qualitative and quantitative. The results of this study indicate that the assessment of this teaching material expert category is very feasible with a percentage of 89%. The assessment of the linguists in this teaching material category is very feasible with a percentage of 86.9%. The expert assessment of this teaching material design category is very feasible with a percentage of 96.4%. Overall validation from material experts, linguists, and design experts is an average of 89.7% with very feasible criteria
