Code mixing is the insertion of elements of other languages or the entry of foreign and regional language fragments into the main language of the speech. The use of mixed codes is often found in formal and informal situations, one of which is on television shows namely talk shows, where national television is expected to use Indonesian language that is good and right. The problems in this research are: 1) the form of code mixing in the Black and White talkshow in Trans7, 2) the type of code mixing, and 3) the factors causing code mixing. The methodology used in this study is a qualitative approach describing descriptively. Theories used in this study are: the theory of code mixing according to Wijana and Rohmadi (2013), the theory of code mixing types according to Suwito (2007), and the theory of factors causing code mixing according to Suwito. In this study 704 data were found with details of the code mixed form, namely: the word form contained 584 data, the form of the word group there were 95 data, the form of the red words contained 13 data, the idiom form contained 3 data and the clause form contained 9 data. The type of code mix that I found is, the type of code mix in as many as 605 data and the type of code mix out as much as 99. The factors that cause the code mix that I found are the non-linguistic factors in need for synonyms of 2 data, social velue of 95 data, development and introduction to new culture there are 2 data, while linguistic factors in the form of 515 data low frequency of words, pernicious homonymy there are 2 data, 26 data oversight, and 62 data end (purpose and goal).
