Abstract

"In this research, using qualitative descriptive analysis, which seeks to analyze and explain the details and what about the object being studied. (Bagong Suyanto, 2008: 70). In conducting the study researchers found the service unit PPA working together with the Chief of Unit Criminal Police pekanbaru in addressing issues of violence of children in cases of pedophilia in conducting the study researchers found the service unit PPA working together with the Chief of Unit Criminal Police pekanbaru in addressing issues of violence children in such cases. Researchers also found the service unit PPA to provide assistance in medical treatment of the victims in such cases, both in terms of medical and other treatments. Unit PPA in their duties also provide psychological care, this is because the victim has a sense of trauma and severe depression and unable to endure it faces. In providing services to victims of child molestation, Unit PPA ilengkapi with the shelter home located within institutions PPA Unit. Their shelter house aims to simplify Unit PPA in providing care to victims as well as monitor conditions and developments within the victim Ppa Unit provides services to victims of child molestation. In providing services Unit PPA experienced problems in the form of a rejection of the victim to want to stay inside the shelter. because most victims prefer to stay at home with their parents rather than stay inside the shelter. of course this makes the functioning of the facilities are not available within the service given PPA Unit for victims of violence in the case of pedophilia. Besides it being a limited party PPA Unit to provide services to victims if staying at home. Rather than stay at home victim shelter at any time of Unit PPA officers can monitor the development of the condition of the victims is much longer than the home of the victim. In this case the lack of a functioning shelter house that has been provided to the victims as one unit PPA facilities in providing services to victims of child molestation ".
