Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine how the influence of soft skills and learning achievement on the job readiness of accounting education students at the Islamic University of Riau. This type of research is using research methods with a quantitative approach. The total population is 91 students with a sample of the total population. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire which was processed using SPSS V.22.00 software for windows. Data analysis used quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of this research show (1) there is a significant influence between soft skills on work readiness, the results of testing the Soft Skills t-count (18,148) > t-table (1,991) can be seen that tcount is greater than t-table and the significant value is 0.000 <0.05. (2) there is no significant effect of learning achievement on work readiness, the results of testing the value of tcount Learning Achievement (-1.199) < t-table (1.991) and a significant value of 0.234 > 0.05. (3) there is a significant effect of soft skills and learning achievement on work readiness, the results of testing the value of f-count (163,227) > f-table (3.10) and a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. The results of the calculation of the determinant coefficient is known that Soft Skills and learning achievement affect work readiness that is equal to 78.8%, while 21.2% is influenced by other variables that are not in this study.
