Abstract
The teaching and learning process is a process that is intentionally created for the benefit of students, so that students are happy and passionate about learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of student learning using the google classroom application on economics subjects and the benefits of this research to provide conclusions about how effective students are in dealing with the learning process using the google classroom application at SMA Negeri 2 Bangkinang Kota. This research is a qualitative descriptive study to examine the effectiveness of student learning with the learning process using the google classroom application at SMA Negeri 2 Bangkinang Kota. The data collection method used by the researcher is the interview and documentation method. The results showed that the effectiveness of students using the google classroom application at SMA Negeri 2 Bangkinang Kota was not yet effective. Because there are still students who lack awareness and discipline in the learning process and cause students to be ineffective in learning using the Google Classroom application, this is stated by the students and teachers concerned.
