Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how the influence of interest in learning and learning readiness on learning outcomes in economic subjects in class X IPS SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru. The methodology used in this study is correlational research. The population in this study amounted to 71 students with a sample of the population. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire that was processed using SPSS V 14.00 for windows. Data analysis used quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that interest in learning and learning readiness did not significantly influence learning outcomes in economic subjects. This is because the way teachers teach tends to be boring, coupled with learning that is carried out online. This online learning makes it difficult for teachers and students to carry out the learning process. This online learning process makes learning less conducive and less efficient. From the results of the conclusions obtained from this study, the authors provide suggestions to the school, especially teachers who carry out learning, it should be more varied, and support learning interest and learning readiness of students, in order to attract more attention and enthusiasm of students in learning so that they can achieve results. optimal learning.
