Abstract
The purpose of this study was to find out the description of student satisfaction about online learning for economic subjects in the social studies class of SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru. The methodology used in this research is descriptive analysis research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study amounted to 108 students with a sample of 108 students of class XI IPS in SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire which was processed using IBM SPSS Statistics version 22.00 for windows. The technique of determining the sample uses the Total Sampling technique. The instrument test carried out is the validity test and the reliability test. The data analysis technique used is Descriptive Statistical Analysis. The results of the research on descriptive analysis showed that student satisfaction was the driving force for carrying out certain actions in learning. To find out the success of online learning, it can be seen from how satisfied the students are in learning. After a survey was conducted through distributing questionnaires to students of class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru, since online learning was conducted, the learning outcomes of class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru students were in the satisfied category. The lowest indicator of student satisfaction is found in the certainty indicator. This is due to several factors, such as using online learning media such as zoom.google meet, and so on during online learning, such as network disturbances that cause learning to be not smooth so that students do not understand the material presented. Furthermore, the learning model used during online learning is less clear and not sequential due to the short time. Therefore, in the future, it is necessary to improve the teacher's teaching strategies to improve the quality of learning so that learning can be understood even though it is constrained by the network, for example, making videos of teaching materials that are distributed to students so that students can repeat the lessons given even though the internet network is not adequate.
