Abstract
The development of the potential possessed by students both academically and non-academically can be done with various efforts. There must be a balance between academic and non-academic activities as well as performance between the left and right brain, especially in the learning process that is theoretical but how does the influence of intelligence in motoric learning processes in this case the shooting accuracy skills. non-experiment. Next, the researcher uses correlational design in the form of a causal relationship where one variable becomes a cause, and one variable becomes a result. There are two variables, namely the level of intelligence (independent variable) and the accuracy of shooting skills (dependent variable). The subjects or samples in this study were class C students in a number of 20 students. Data retrieval uses Purposive sampling where the characteristics of students are known in advance. The instruments carried out in this study were Intelligence tests (IQ) and skills tests for precision basketball shooting (10 ball shooting). Then the data is processed with statistics using the product moment correlation formula and using the distribution formula t to find out whether there is a significant or no relationship at the significant taragf of 0.05. The hypothesis proposed is that there is a relationship between intelligence and skills in the accuracy of basketball shooting in Class C students in the Department of Education and Culture of the 2017 Islamic University of Riau. Based on the results of the research, it was concluded that there was no relationship between intelligence and shooting. table = 2,101 and t-count = 2.
