Abstract
The Effect of the Use of Information Technology and Learning Motivation on the Learning Achievement of Class X Social Studies Students at SMA Negeri 1 Ujungbatu Academic Year 2020/2021 Indriani Safitri, Sukarni Safitriindri825@gmail.com Islamic University of Riau This study aims to determine the effect of the use of information technology and learning motivation on the learning achievement of class X Social Studies students at SMA Negeri 1 Ujungbatu for the academic year 2020/2021. This research is a quantitative research. The population in this study were students of class X IPS SMA Negeri 1 Ujungbatu totaling 144 students, and the sample taken was 105 students. The data was taken using a questionnaire and documentation method. The test instruments used in this study were instrument validation and instrument reliability. Test of data analysis requirements includes normality test, linearity test, and hypothesis testing using simple regression analysis. The results of the study show that: (1) There is a significant influence of the influence of information technology on learning achievement. It is known from sig. for the information technology variable 0.348 < 0.05, Hao is accepted and Ha1 is rejected, meaning that there is no significant effect of information technology on the learning achievement of class X Social Studies students at SMA Negeri 1 Ujungbatu for the academic year 2020/2021. (2 Based on the analysis of the data on the sample, it was found that there was a significant effect of motivation on learning achievement. It is known from sig. of 0.000 < 0.05, then Hao is rejected and Ha2 is accepted, meaning that there is a significant effect of learning motivation on student achievement in class X Social Sciences SMA Negeri 1 Ujungbatu for the 2020/2021 academic year. (3) Based on the analysis of the data on the sample, it was found that there was a significant effect of the influence of information technology and learning motivation on learning achievement. It is known from sig. of 0.000 < 0.05, then Hao is rejected and Ha3 is accepted, meaning that there is an influence that information technology and learning motivation have on the learning achievement of class X Social Studies students at SMA Negeri 1 Ujungbatu for the academic year 2020/2021.
