Abstract
This study aims to find out about the implementation of cultural arts learning (Kuala Deli Dance) in class VII-5 MTs Hasanah Pekanbaru Riau Province T.A 2018/2019. The theory used by Yunus Abidin, Oemar Hamalik, Mohammad Syarif Sumantri, Rohman and Amri. The approach used in this study is a descriptive method of analysis with qualitative data. The implementation of learning consists of three stages including introduction, core activities and closing activities. Learning methods used lectures, demonstrations, question and answer, discussion and assignments. The material learned about floor level and pattern in motion, with an allocation of 4 weeks x 3 hours @ 40 minutes. Data collection through observation, interviews and documentation through the implementation of learning arts and culture. The sample in this study were 1 cultural arts teacher and 30 students of class VII-5 Pekanbaru Hasanah MTs. The results of conducting research at Pekanbaru Hasanah MTs were that students were able to understand and practice the kuala deli dance well. The facilities provided by the school are complete, only the use is less optimal. Syllabus and RPP used by seventh grade arts and culture teachers Pekanbaru Pekanbaru MTs Hasanah based on the 2013 curriculum (K13) which has been determined by the Government.
